Home Visits

Doctor's bagIn order that Doctor may safely carry out consulting sessions here at the surgery, Home visits are mainly for those patients who are too ill to leave their home.  Unavailability of transport should not be presumed to be a reason to request a home visit.

If you feel that you are too ill to attend the surgery, and wish to request a home visit, whenever possible please ring the surgery before 10:30hrs to request a home visit. Reception staff will usually ask if you are willing to give the reason for requesting a home visit and will then put your request to the doctor along with the details you have provided.

The doctor may telephone you to discuss/consider if a home visit is appropriate - placing a request for a home visit does not necessarily mean that one will be agreed.
