Useful information:

The easiest and fastest way to get any kind of help is with askmyGP.  You can sign up with no paperwork by using the link which is shown towards the top of this page.  

  • Available 24/7 - we respond in clinical hours, 0830 hrs to 1700 hrs Monday to Friday excluding Wednesday half day. For any urgent matters please do not hesitate to call the surgery on 01942 807600.
  • We can usually get back to you within hours and, if clinically appropriate, will see you same day;  however, dependent upon the type of query please be aware our response may take up to 24 to 48 hours
  • All our registered patients are welcome, parents and carers on behalf of patients too.
  • You can name a GP if you wish (providing they are working today)
  • You may prefer a message, telephone, video or face to face response - We should stress that, once you have placed your inquiry on AMGP, you should maintain your availability until you have been contacted by the Practice as it is the responsibility of yourself to respond in a timely manner

AskmyGP means you can get help quickly for yourself, parent, child or someone who is registered with the Practice whom you care for re the following:

  • A medical problem (non emergency)
  • Medication queries (for acute or repeat prescriptions please use your SystmOne online account or email address
  • Test results
  • Any administrative queries

If you require resetting of your on-line log on details (i.e. if you have locked your on-line account password) send an email to requesting resetting on your on-line account;  Practice staff will then arrange resetting of your account and will email you your new log on details

To request a prescription from the surgery please use either your on-line account using your usual log on details (please note on-line appointment booking has been temporarily suspended until further notice due to triage system which is being followed by Dr. Kumar in the surgery.  Additionally, you can send an email to whereupon receipt of your email Practice staff will process your request.  If you have not already signed up for electronic prescriptions, the Practice would like to ask that you do so by selecting a Pharmacy of your own choice, sending details of such to;  once we receive details of your chosen Pharmacy we will sign you up for electronic prescriptions, following which any prescriptions will go via electronic connectivity rather than you having to attend surgery to collect the prescription.

To send a general inquiry to Practice staff you can either telephone the surgery on 01942 807600 or use email address;  upon receipt of your email, Practice staff will consider/process your request.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active Patient Participation Group (PPG) exists to make sure that patient needs and the services the Practice offers are always heading in the same direction.

Access & Parking

The surgery premises has access/toilet facilities for the disabled. 

The surgery has sufficient car parking space at the front of the premises for a small/limited number of cars including disabled parking space; if you are able-bodied and able to park in any of the surrounding areas/avenues where other parking spaces are available/allowable, we would be grateful if you would do this so as car parking space at the surgery premises can be available for those patients visiting the surgery who are less able-bodied. Vehicles parked on the surgery premises (or in any of the surrounding areas/avenues) are parked at your own risk.

There is a Pharmacy in close proximity to the surgery on Braithwaite Road.
